170 VETERANS TO BE FETED BY CITY CLUB 25-Year Members Are to Be Honored at Beefsteak Dinner Tuesday. More than 170 veteran members nf the Columbia Club are to be honored at the forty-seventh annual Beefsteak Dinner next Thursday night. a* a feature of the program Charles Milton Ncwromb, humorist, is to be guest of honor and speaker of the evening. He has announced he will talk on the subject 'What .Are You Afraid Os?" Music, a floor show, boxing and wrestling are also on the schedule for the annual stag entertainment. MOTORIST FINED SIOO FOR FLEEING ACCIDENT Bridgeport Man Found Guilty in Fatal Hit-Run Crash. William Russell Cress. Bridgeport, is to be sentenced Monday by Earl E. MrFerrcn, criminal judge pro tern., after having been found guilty yesterday of failure to stop after an accident. The jury deliberated more than six hours and assessed a fine of SIOO against Cress. The jury gave no jail sentence.
