"I feel that Miss Chrysanthemum knows that we Tinies are not dumb. She wouldn't play a trick on us, as far as I can see." ‘‘Of course she wouldn’t," Dotty said. ‘‘.She’ll entertain us all, instead. Perhaps that lamp’s for tanning, and we’ll get a nice sunburn. ‘‘Right now it’s focused on the ground. Beneath it we might run around.” Their friend then said, “That’s not my plan, as you will shortly learn. “The rays are ultra-violet from this big lamp, and now I’m set to bring forth little flowers. They'll come popping from the ground. “Can you guess just what kind they'll be? Now, who's the smartest tot, we’ll see." For many moments not a single Tiny made a sound. , “Oh, I’ll bet you anything I know. The flowers will t*s violets. Now, ! tell me, am I right?" Fair Miss Chrysanthemum just smiled, and then said, “Absolutely, child! Just watch the ground and you’ll soon see a very pretty sight." “Hurray! I see one coming through. Yes, sir. and now I can see two,” cried Windy. “There’s another. Gee, but they are growing fast. “The ultra-violet rays have done their work, and now we’ll see some fun. I hope the blooms are strong and for a long, long time will last.” The Tinies watched them grow and grow. “Now I’ll have them put on a show." said Miss Chrysanthemum. “I’ll make them dance around and ’round.” The flowers did, and all kept step. They certainly were full of pep. Said Dotty, “Id think they’d get tired and flop down to the ground.”

THE TARZAN TWINS
With, a vial of potent poison concealed in his bony hand, Intamo haunted the place where the evening meal was to be prepared for the white boys and their two fellow-prisoners. “It was I who sent Tarzan to his doom," he chuckled, “and now his kin shall die!”

Once more the ape-man rose to his feet and ran desperately for the lone tree, his only hope i'i refuge in all this dismal, sun-baked Vale of '}eath. Gudah's surprise enabled Tarzan to gain a slight lead, but soon the mad beast was bearing down upon him in frantic pursuit.

Despite his lameness, the Jungle Lord ran swiftly, summoning from his muscles the very peak of their electric energy. But the terrible Gudah was no less determined to claim the victim which had eluded him. This was a race of Titans, with the result in gravest doubt!
