BUILDING BOOM IS FORECAST BY j REALTY LEADER Regional Officer Calls for ‘More Confidence in Real Estate. Forecast of a building boom and suggestion of the heed of “more confidence in real estate" were reviewed today by Indianapolis real- j tors following the address yesterday of Charles S. Wanless, Springfield, 111., regional vice president of the National Association of Real Estate, before the Indianapolis Real Estate Board. Mr. Wanless, who built many i homes during the depression years, I asserted "the time will be here soon for a big harvest.” “When you make some money you had better save it to make economic investments in times of economic distress,” he said. He commended appraisal clinics, one of which is to be held March 24 to 26 in the Indiana University extension, and said the clinics are “worth their weight in gold.” Too many realty men, he said, are ignoring the low-salaried groups in building new homes. It is possible to make a profit building low-cost homes, he declared. Associate members of the real estate board are to have charge of next week’s program.
