POSTAL SERVICE MOTION PICTURE IS TO BE SHOWN Movie to Entertain Rural Carriers' Convention Tonight. A dramatic motion picture portrayal of the United States fOtstal service is to be shown for the first time in Indianapolis at the Indiana Federation of Rural Letter Carriers convention tonight in the Washington The public has been invited to the showing of the picture, ‘Here Comes to the Mail,” at 8 p. m. The film was produced by St. Paul fMlnn.) postal employes and shows busy scenes in St. Paul, Chicago and New York and various methods of carrying mail—by train, truck, airplane, steamship, street car, motorcycle. dog sled and conveyor belt. Persons interested in showing the film before any school, church organizations. club or fraternal organizations can make reservations with Elmer H. Schmafeldt, Indianapolis postoffice. Convention business sessions are to open at 9 tomorrow morning with W B Andrews, Romney, federation president, presiding. Speakers at the luncheon tomorrow are to include George F. Klinker, national president; Jesse C. Donaldson, Washington, first deputy to the second assistant Postmaster General, and Postmaster Adolph Seidensticker, Indianapolis. Mrs. George Slavens, Waveland. auxiliary president, is to preside at the women’s sessions. The picture covers 1100 feet of film and requires 45 minutes to show. The project was started in St. Paul two years ago under the direction o£ Howard L. Hanson, veteran postal clerk and a member of the Amateur Cinema League. Funds were raised by St. Paul branches of the Railway Mail and Letter Carriers Association, the Postoffice Clerks and Postoffice Motor Vehicle Operators Federation and the Postal Laborers Union.

MET. MUSEUM UNVEILS IMPORTANT PAINTING Titian Canvas Is Hailed by Harry Wehle, Curator of Paintings. By United Press NEW YORK, Feb. 21.—Temporary screens were withdrawn from a wall of the Metropolitan Museum of Art today to allow the public its first view of the museums newest acquisition—a Titian entitled “Venus and the Lute Player.” The purchase was announced by Harry B. Wehle, curator of paintings, contrary to the museum’s usual custom of withholding such news for publication in its monthly bulletin. Cousins, chief electrical engineer for the Gary Works of the Carnegie-Illinois Steel Corp., were incomplete today, pending arrival of the body from Miami Beach. Fla. Mr. Cousins, who was 58, died of pneumonia two weeks after going South for his health. Identified with the local steel concern for 27 years, he was credited with having supervised its complete electrification.
