It is all a mistake that Miss O. C. Harbaugh's picture is in the paper. But nobody is sorry that it happened. Miss Harhaugh is hostess on the TWA airliner that flies between Newark and Kansas City. She loves flying, says it’s the only life. The Times photographer was at Municipal Airport to get a picture of Henrietta Lieber, recently named America's most beautiful model. But Miss Lieber crossed up every one by changing planes

at Kansas City for Chicago. Miss Harhaugh agreed to substitute. And what a pinch-hitter! One look at her and it’s easy to understand why the country is becoming air-minded.

Smith, Internal Revenue Collector for Indiana. He warned persons filing returns to study the instructions on the form thoroughly before preparing the blank. He also urged that the memoranda from whicp the return was prepared be saved for future reference. Furthermore, the taxpayer should attach any memorandum of explanation to the return, so that a more

intelligent attitude can be taken by the examiner, he said. The income tax return, briefly, is this, he said: Single persons who have a net income of SIOOO or more or grass income of SSOOO or more must file a return, and married couples who have net income of $2500 or more or gross income of SSOOO or more must file returns. The filing period began Jan. 1 and { is to end March 16, 1936. The re- | turn must be filed with the income i collector’s office in the district in j which the person lives.
