W re Duncy was a tickled !ad. He. shouted, “Gee, but I am glad that I have entertained the beasts. I surely made them roar. * And, all I did was climb around. I didn't even make a sound. Why, judging from the way they clap their paws, they want some more.” ‘Of course they do,” kind Slim replied. “They'll beg, as Ion? as you're Inside the cage, for more and better tricks. Gee, they’d watch you all day.” “Okay,” said Duncy. "Here I go. A fancy little 'lip ill show. The ; beasts may think this stuff is hard, i but, to me. it s like play.” Heal shortly, his fine flip was o’er ... a flip that made the audience roar. Then Scouty cried, “Come out of that big cage. Do tricks out here. “Friend Slim has brought some circus props; the sort we've all seen in big tops. We'll set a little platform up. The beasts can gather near.”

“Oh. just give me a tub and ball,” Wee Duncy answered. “That is all I’ll need to do a little stunt that’s often done by seals. “You Tinies watch that little bear. The one that's standing over there. Each time I’ve finished with a stunt, the little fellow squeals.” The tub was rolled into place, and Duncy, smile upon his face, hopped onto it and shouted, “Here’s a trick you’ve seen in shows. “Now, toss the big ball right t'ward me, and then watch closely and you’ll see me stand on just one foot, and catch it neatly on my nose.” The first time that the ball was thrown, poor Duncy missed, and with a groan, he shouted, “Try again. The pesky ball fell to the ground.” So Coppy more tossed it out. This time there came a merry shout. On Duncy’s nose the ball was balanced, whirling "round and ’round.

Despite Intamo's plea that the Tarzan Twins be killed at once. Chief Galla Galla shook his head and ordered them returned with their two fellow captives to the prison hut. The boys noted that Bulala was acting strangely, as if he had beheld some ghostly apparition.

... At that moment, Tarzan was in no danger, but in his feverish search for some trace of the Tarzan Twins, he was drawing nearer and nearer to the district where the warrior-couriers of the wicked Galla Galla were scouring the wi’dumesa to encounter the mighty ape-man!
