$60,000 HOME ! TO BE SOUGHT FOR JUVENILES County Commissioners to Bring Question Before Council Again. The question of anew Marion County Juvenile Detention Home aßain is to be brought to the attention of the County Council by the County Commissioners, according to Ernest K. Newhouse, presi-j dent. New Jerseyst, and to set aside about $60,000 to erect a suitable home, commissioners said. * The present building is unsuited for the purpose for which it is used, Mr. Newhouse said. “We intend to eract a plain, comfortable building. A playground is to be provided, and it will be possi- | ble to segregate child en placed in ! the home through circumstance j from juvenile delinquents. “If we are able to start one ch'id I on the right path the cost of the building will be repaid amply,” he said. Under a former administration $350,000 was provided for this purpose but was not used. A suitable building can be no v erected for about $60,000. This money would be raised through a 10-year bond issue which would add only about onetenth of a mill to the present tax rate, Mr. Newhouse said. CITY MAN PROMOTED ON PENNSY DIVISION S. H.
