FOURTH BANDIT GANG SUSPECT i NABBEDJN OHIO Negroes Questioned by City Police in Eight Robberies Here. The fourth member of a Negro gang suspected of committing eight recent robberies here was in custody at Columbus, 0., today and Indianapolis police took legal steps to have him brought back for questioning. The suspect, Neal Ware, also is said to have told Columbus police where his alleged confederates could be found. Indianapolis officers previously had arrested Jesse Curry, 20, of 318 N. Cal'fornia-st, while he was sitting in a taxicab at Blackford and New York-sts. With his capture, it was announced that a statement had been made Sunday by another Negro implicating him in eight robberies. Curry s brother, James Curry, 826 Meikle-st, and George McCrimmons, 2722 N. Oxford-st, other alleged gang members, were arrested several days ago. Surrenders Without Fight Jesse Curry boasted to his mates that he would never be taken alive, according to police, but he changed his mind yesterday when surprised by heavily armed officers. As two squads of police and two squads of detectives closed in, he raised his hands, and made no move to reach a .38 caliber revolver in his belt. All three of the men arrested here admitted, detectives said, that they robbed a trackless trolley operator on Jan. 4. McCrimmons, detectives claimed, said they got on the car, forced the driver into a rear seat and then drove the trolley to the scene of the crime at 21st-st and Martindale-av. They implicated Ware in this “job,” police reported. Jesse Curry also is suspected of participating in seven robberies of grocery and feed stores. KNIGHTSTOWN TRUSTEE RULING IS REVERSED Indiana Supreme Court Settles Dispute Over Election. Reversing Delaware Circuit Court, the Indiana Supreme Court has settled an election dispute over the offices of town trustee at Knightstown where two sets of trustee claimed the office. The high court decided the offices belonged to Roy Heathco, Hiram White and Hamsom Ramsey. Delaware Circuit Court, where the case was taken on a change of venue, had decided the offices belonged to J. Blaine Addison, Claude Sears and Luther White. Bird Calendar Explained E. V. Rutherford of the Technical High School zoology department gave instructions to the memusrs of the Nature Study Club yesterday on keeping a spring bird calendar.

The bushy-haired, mustached little scientist walked unheralded yesterday into the Trenton courthouse to obtain his first papers. He was accompanied by a young woman, apparently a secretary. He asked a lawyer in the corridor for direction to "the naturalization clerk.” The lawyer sent him to the county clerk’s office. A clerk there sent him to the proper bureau in the postoffice. Remarks on Weather At the Naturalization Bureau, with a few friendly remarks about the weather in a guttural accent, the scientist answered necessary questions, and paid a $2.50 fee. Clerks were unaware, until he was gone, of the importance of their visitor. Dr. Einstein’s intention to become a citizen was revealed last May by Dimitri Marianoff, his son-in-law. “Great prejudice against the
