Radio Patrolman Claude Reidenbach today began serving a 30-day suspension from duty without pay following his trial last night by a police board in the office of Chief Morrissey. Radio Patrolman Horace Eller also was fined two days pay by the board for neglect of duty. The board charged Patrolman Reidenbach with being under the influence of liquor while on duty, with conduct unbecoming an officer and neglect of duty. Charges against him grew out of an accident Jan. 2 when a police car was wrecked at Madison-av and McCarty-st. Radio Patrolman Peter Mause, Reidenbachs companion, was reprimanded by the board and ordered to move his home within the city limits. Eller was tried because of his alleged failure to arrest a motorist in connection with an accident. Reidenbach, according to the police board, was one of a number of Indianapolis policemen tried in Federal Court several years ago on charges of liquor conspiracy. He was reinstated to the department after the local court's finding was reversed by the Circuit Court of Appeals. Ice Floes Sink Boat Landing H\j United Tress MADISON.
