YOUTH REFUTES 'CONFESSION' TO MURDER CHARGE Alleged Admission of His Guilt Repudiated at Arraignment. ny f niltri Prrun AUBURN. Ind.. Jan. 3 Repudiating an alleged confession, Lyston Webb, 18-year-old farm youth today had entered a plea of not guilty to murder charges filed agp.inst him in De Kalb Circuit Court. The slight, blond youth entered his plea when arraigned before Judge Wiiliam P. End.icott yesterday on charges of slaying his father, Earl Webb, last Dec. 11. Mrs. Edna Webb. 37-year-old mother of the boy and estranged wife of the victim, will be arraigned tomorrow on charges of being an accessory before the fact. According to a confession claimed Tuesday by authorities, young Webb said he shot his father to collect a share of a SIOOO life insurance policy and become the "boss” of the farm.
