Pullman, largest land plane ever built in America, is to be in Indianapolis about Feb. 1. The plane is the first of a fleet, of 15 to be operated by American Airways, and is to be placed in service March 1. It now is undergoing tests. Carl Cover, president of the Douglas Aircraft Cos., builder of the plane, announces it will cut hours off the transcontinental flying schedules. With seats for 24 passengers and sleeping berths for 16. the plane has a flying range of 1400 miles and a cruising speed of 215 miles an hour. A bath and smoking room are among its features.
