The Northern Indiana Telephone Cos. today sought to reorganize through the new Section 77-B of the Federal bankruptcy statute. The firm said its liabilities and assets each were $691,155, but that it was unable to meet interest on $33,500 in 6 cent mortgage bonds. The company serves North Manchester.
