COLVIN IS LOW BIDDER ON I. U. MUSIC BUILDING Power Plant Contracts Are Awarded: $231,000 Bonds Sold. Bids on anew music building at Indiana University were received yesterday by the board of trustees and contracts were awarded for an addition to the power plant. Leslie Colvin was low bidder at $233,508. The bids were taken under consideration. The building will be situated ,iust east of the Women's Memorial Hall. A $231,000 bond issue for the administration building and power plant was sold to Walter Woody and Hamerdinger. Magus to Cos.. Otto P. Frenzel and Marcus Warrender, at a premium of $2400 and a 3Vi per cent rate. The women's dormitory bond issue of $115,000 was sold to the City Securities Corp., the Indianapolis Bond and Share Corp. and Breed, Elliott & Harrison at a 5787 premium and 3'i per cent rate. Other bids received were as follows: General contract, E. A. Carson, $285,612; William P. Jungclaus Cos., $285,090, and Jacobson Brothers Cos., $289,000; heating and ventilating. Freyn Brothers, $37,958; Hayes Brothers, $38,039; R. M. Cotton, $40,160, and Fred Fenneman. $37,088; plumbing, Freyn Brothers, $9,250; Hayes Brothers, $9,710; R. M.
