OHIO RIVER HISTORY TOLO BY WPA GROUP Programs Are Being Given T hroughout State. Sponsored by the emergency education division of the state Works Progerss Administration, a series or programs is being given this week on the history of the Ohio river. The first program was given yesterday at Lawrenc 'burg. Today the presentation is scheduled at, Aurora; Wednesday at Jeffersonville and Hew Albany; Thursday at Condon and Rockport, and Friday at Evansville. D. A. R, Chapters at Charleston and New' Albany are to co-operate when the program is presented at the latter city. The only outdoor meeting is to be held around a can ofire at Jeffersonville tomorrow night. Purposes of the program are development of community interest in local history, cultivation of historic
