SUTLER DEBATE. TEAM TO OPEN SEASON DEC. 6 Indiana Law School First of Seven to Be Met During Year. The first contest on the 1935-36 schedule of the Butler University debate .squad Is to be held Dec. 6, with debaters of Indiana Law School. Prof. C. H. Walters, Butler debate coach, is to be in charge. “Resolved, that Congress be empowered to override by a two-thirds majority any decision of the Supreme Court declaring acts of Congress unconstitutional,” is the topic. Schools on the Butler schedule include Valparaiso. Indiana. Hanover, Indiana State, Rose Polytechnic and Franklin. Butler is to participate in the annual North Manchester tournament next spring.
