Alien County, Indiana, will receive bids tor the erection and construction ol a new gymnasium and for the remodeling of the present consolidated grade and hign school in said Township, including heating, plumbing, ventilating and electrical wiring, according to the pians and specifications prepared bv Leroy Bradley, architect of the City of Fort Wayne, Indiana, whicn plans and specifications are now on file in the office of the Trustee of Adams School Township, and at the office of said architect at 221 West Wayne Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana. The estimated cost of said building and remodeling is $50,350.50. Said Trustee will receive sealed bids at his office located at his home at 735 Oak Street, New Haven. Indiana, at two o'clock P. M., on the 16th day of December, 1935. Bids will be accepted as follows: Construction and building as one contract igeneral contract). Plumbing and sanitation as one contract. Electric wiring as one contract. Heating and ventilation as one contract. All bids shall be in writing, made out on forms prescribed by the State Beard of Accounts and furnished by the architects, sealed in envelopes and endorsed giving the names and addresses of the bidders and the class of work bid upon. All bids will be Opened and reael publicly at the time and place set out in this notice. Each contractor must furnish certificate from the Industrial Board of Indiana showing that he has complied with the provisions of Sections 5, 68 and 69 of the Indiana Workmen’s Compensation Acts of the General Assembly of the State of Indiana of 1929, page 536. Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received by Fred Wissman, Trustee of Adams School Township, Allen County. Indiana, at his office located at his home at 735 Oak Street. New Haven, Indiana, until eleven o’clock A. M., on the 16th day of December, 1935, for the purchase of fifty-five (55) bonds of the aggregate amount of $27,693.50. issued by Adams School Township. Allen County, Indiana. One of said bonds to be of the par value of $693.50, and the remainder of said bonds to be of the par value of Five Hundred ($500.00) Dollars each, and all of said bonds to be dated December 15, 1935 Didders for said bonds shall be required to name the rate of interest w’hich the bonds will bear, not exceeding Four (4 r !-l per cent per annum. Such interest rate must be in multiples of one-quarter of one per cent, and not more than one interest rate shall be named by each bidder. Said bonds shall be awarded to the highest bidder who has submitted his bid in units herewith. The highest bidder will be one who offers the lowest net interest cost, to be determined by computing the total interest on all of the bonds to maturity and deducting therefrom the premium bid. if any. Accrued interest on the bonds will be computed on the basis of the bid rate accented. First installment of interest for a oeriod of nineteen (19) months on all of said bonds shall be payable July 15. 1937. and shall be parable semi-annually on the 15th day of January and July of each year until said bonds are paid. One bond of $693.50 and two. bonds of SSOO each shall become due and oavable Julr 15. 1937. and two of said $500.00 bonds shall become due and payable January 15 and July 15 of each year until TwentvSix Thousand ($26.000 00) of said bonds has been paid on July 15. 1950. Said bonds are Issued for the construction of a gymnasium and the remodeling of the present consolidated grade and high school in Adams School Township, Allen County, Indiana, in pursuance to Section 65-313. Burns' Annotated Indiana Statutes. Revision of 1933, and all acts supplementary and amendatory thereto, and in pursuance to a Resolution of the Advisory Board of said School Township, passed at a special meeting of said Board on October 15. 1935, authorizing the Trustee to borrow Twenty-Seven Thousand Six Hundred Ninety-three and 50/100 ($27,693.50) Dollars, for the purpose set forth and to issue and sell bonds for said purpose. Each bid must be for all of said bonds. Said bonds will be sold to the highest and best bidder for cash and for not less than par value. The right to reject any and all bids is reserved by said Trustee. Sale of bonds is further upon the condition that the Public Works Administration of the United States grants to Adams School Township. Allen County, Indiana, a sum equivalent to forty-five (45</r) per cent of the cost of the construction of said gymnasium and the remodeling of said consolidated school. The accepted purchaser or purchasers of said bonds shall pay for same on or before the date of the Bonds and upon payment therefore, said bonds shall be delivered to the purchaser or purchasers thereof. Proposals must be endorsed "Bid for School Purpose Bonds of Adams School Township. Allen County. Indiana,” and shall be accompanied by certified check payable to the Trustee of said Township of 5o- of the par value of said bonds bid for.
