CHURCHES PLAN UNION SERVICE NEXT THURSDAY All Souls Unitarian Will Be Host to Three Denominations. The annual union Thanksgiving service of the Hebrew Temple, Central Unlverr-alist Church and All Souls Unitarian Church is to be held in All Souls Unitarian Church, 1453 N. Alabama-st, Thursday at 11. Alden G. Alley, European traveler and lecturer on international affairs, is to deliver the address. A memorial service at Trinity Lutheran Church. East and Ohio6ts, is to be held Sunday night at 8, a.' part of the church's sixtieth anniversary celebration. The service is to honor the memory of the 974 members who have died since the dedication of the church in 1875. The Rev. J. I). Matthius to Speak The Rev. J. D. Matthius is to speak and the choir will sing selections from Gaul's "The Holy City.’ In a half-hour concert preceding the service. Clarence Elbert, organist. is to play music by Bach, Faulkes and Nonmeiisen. The Rev. M. W. Clair, resident bishop of the Covington Area M. E. Church, is to speak at the Barnes M F,. Church Sunday morning. One of two Negro bishops elected in 1920, Bishop Clair, has spent much time in Africa as presiding officer of the Liberian Conference. Contestants in the Prince of Peace declamation contest are to furnish the program of the Fletcher Place M E. Church service tomorrow night. Those Competing Those competing are Wilma Lantin. Virginia Taylor, Madeline De Vassy and Esther Kasey. The winner is to receive a bronze medal and will represent the church in a district contest in December. The Rev. E -J Pitts, president of the Indiana Conference of Wesleyan Methodist Churches, is to preach at the Wesleyan Methodist Church, Shelby-st and Hoyt-av, Sunday night, and will preside at the church's business meeting Monday night. This is to be the first official visit by Mr. Pitts to Indianapolis since his election. He was formerly pastor of the North Church, Kokomo. JUNIOR CHAMBER HEAD INDUCTION IS DEC. U Karl W.
