C, N. PERKINS FUNERAL RITES SET TOMORROW Grocer Was Born in Boone County; Had Lived in City Many Years. Charles N. Perkins, 732 Ccrrardrir, died yesterday at the home of his brother-i-law, Charles Apostol, 3766 Ruekle-st. He was 59. Mr. Perkins was born in Boone County and had spent most of hts life in Indianaoplis. He had been engaged in the grocery business 15 years and for the last two years had operated i store in the Ambassador Hotel. He was a member of the Lvndhurst Masonic Lodge and past high priest of the Commandery. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Floy Perkins; a daughter, Miss Helen Perkins, Indianapolis, and four brothers, Ernest and Hi 1 Perkis, Indianapolis, and Ray and Oliver Perkins, Zionsville. Funeral services are to be at 2 tomorrow in the Harry W. Mooorc Funeral Home. Burial is to be in P'loral Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be members of the Lyndhurst Masonic Order. R. H. McClellan Dies Richard H. McClellan died last night at his home on the We.stfieldrd after an illness of six years. He was 68. Mr. McClellan managed the Severin Hotel here from 1913 to 1919. He also was manager of the Miami Hotel in Dayton, O. He retired in 1919 He was born in Franklin and had lived here since he was 16. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Claudia McClellan, and a half sister, Mrs. Amy Blake, Greenwood. Private funeral services are to be at the Hisev & Titus Funeral Home at 2 tomorrow. Burial is to be in Crown Hill. Mrs. Ella Kitzmiller Rites Last, rites for Mrs. Ella Kitzmiller, 1021 W. 30th-st, were to be held at 2 today in the Seventh Christian Church with burial in Crown Hill. She was 70 and died Tuesday at her home. Mrs. Kitzmiller was a member of the Seventh Christian Church. She had lived in Indianapolis most of her life and was the wife of John C. Kitzmiller, a member of the original bicycle squad of the Indianapolis Police Department. Surviving besides the widower are a daughter, Mrs. Albert Baskerville, and two sons, John and William Kitzmiller, a 1- of Indianapolis. Mrs. Louisa Apple Dies Mrs. Louisa A. Apple, known as ‘ Aunt Acidic” in Oaklandon, where she made her home, died Tuesday tn the home of her daughter, Mis. Albert Yorger, Lawrence. She was the widow of Capt. William Apple, who served in the Civil War. He died in 1909. Services for Mrs. Apple, who was 91, are to be at 10:30 tomorrow morning at the McCord funeral home, Oaklandon. Burial is to be in Oaklandon. Mrs. Apple is survived by four daughters. They are Mrs. Yorger, Mrs. Effle Lingle. Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. Willa Hinds, and Mrs. Josie Seller, Oaklandon, and a son, Edward Apple, Lawrence. •SPONGE' SQUADS SEIZE 4 IN SERIES OF RAIDS Alcohol and Distilling Apparatus Also Confiscated.
