MASSED CHOIRS TO PARTICIPATE IN MUSIC FETE
Festival Will Be Held at First Presbyterian Church Sunday. A Chorum of 250, consisting inf the choirs of the First Presbyterian and North M. E. churches of Indianapolis and the Presbyterian choir of Franklin, Ind , is to take part In a Music Festival at the F'irst Presbyterian Church Sunday at 7:30. William Kugel. minister of music at, the North M. E. Church, and George Frederick Holler, minister of music. First Presbyterian Church, are to direct. An organ recital at 7:15 by Miss Gertrude Free is to precede the service. She will play compositions by Clokcy, Harker and Massenet. Firtout, teacher and superintendent in the primary department of the West Washington Presbyterian Church for more than 50 years, is to be honored at a reception Tuesday night in the Tabernacle Presbyterian Church by children’s workers of Indianapolis churches. Pastors and Sunday school superintendents are to ho guests. Mrs. Bob Shank, chairman of the Marion County Children's Division Work Committee, is in charge, assisted by the following: Miss Emma Hridergott, First Reformed Church; Mrs. C. E. Feuerlicht is to address the Central Christian Church men’s club at the monthly dinner meeting Friday night, Nov. 15, at the church, Delaware a,id Walnut-sts. Mr. F’euerlicht is to speak on “Long and Short Views of Life.” James Gilbreath, tenor, is to sing, accompanied by Mrs. Jane Johnson Burroughs and members of the Brownlee School of Music. “The Chest of Joash.” a pageantliturgy based on an Old Testament incident, is to feature the Sunday morning service at Centenary Christian Church, 11th and Oxforclsts. Members are to make pledges for the coming year. Armistice Day is to be observed Monday noon at Christ Church on the Circle with a special Requiem Eucharist for the souls of World War victims.
