McCutcheon and Ade Ask That Hoosiers Help Rogers Drive. George Ado, humorist, and John T McCutcheon. cartoonist, today Joined other famous Hoosiers in issuing an appeal to Indiana citizens to contribute to the Will Rogprs Memorial Fund. “I am glad to be associated,” Mr. Ade said, “with the project to establish a memorial for Will Rogers. I knew him fairly well and I came to have for him the same admiration and the same feeling of wonder common to all those who came in contact with him.” Mr. McCutcheon, cartoonist for the Chicago Tribune writes: “I earnestly hope the Will Rogers Memorial Fund will be given the hearty support of the people of Indiana. His death was a very great loss. No one else, in my opinion, had the rare gift of imparting a wholesome idea in such a way that even those of opposing opinions wer* not offended.” Bloomington Leaders Named W. A. Alexander. Indiana University librarian, is to have charge of the campaign in Bloomington, under the direction of President William Lowe Bryan of the university, Hugh McK Landon, state chairman announced today. Mrs. J. T. MofTatt. Women's Clubs president, Bloomington, has been asked to serve as that city’s women's chairman. Organization of the students and faculty of Indiana University is in charge of Agnes E. Wells, dean of women, and Prof. E. L. Yeager. Donald B. Smith, Mishawaka bank cashier, has advised Mr. Landon that all luncheon clubs in that city are supporting the drive. BIBLE CLASS TO MEET Officers to Be Elected by Group in Fountain Square Church. Fishers of Men's Bible Class of Fountain Square Christian Church is to meet Tuesday night at 7:30 in the class room to elect officers. A fellowship luncheon will follow.
