WOODRUFF PLACE WILL PAY $7500 PROTECTION Town Council Notifies City of TwoYear Agreement. The Woodruff Place Town Council today notified Theodore H. Dammeyer, Safety Board president, that it will pay the city $7500 annually for a two-year period for police and fire protection. This is a reduction of $250 a year under the terms of the previous contract, it was said. Mr. Dammeyer also is negotiating with trustees of townships bordering the city to reach terms on ; fire protection.
