Stevenson Addresses Tech Seniors at Assembly. "The human race is a thinking race and because it is a thinking race it makes progress,” Dr. J. A Stevenson, social education director of the Board of Education of the Presbyterian Church, told seniors and post-graduates of Technical High School at a recent assembly. Dr. Stevenson said pupils should not sidestep chances to be thinkers. This is the second in a series of talks arranged for upper classmen. Indianapolis stamp collectors who want cancellations of the first trans-Paciflc air mail flight should follow these directions: Address number of envelopes desired to your home and inclose them in another envelope addressed to Postmaster, San Francisco. Inclose a money order to pay the postage rate of 25 cents each half ounce from United States to Havana; 50 cents each half ounce to Gaum, and 75 cents each half ounce to Philippines. The first west-bound flight leaves Nov. 8 and goes only as far as Manilla. First eastbound flight is Nov. 18. Estimated cost of Indiana projects is $13,870,632. with the Federal government supplying $6,108,135 in grants and $1,878,639 in loans. More than 9000 men are expected to be employed throughout the state.
