THREE AIRPORTS TO BE AIDED BY FEDERAL FUNDS $183,570 Allotted by WPA for Marion and Brown Counties. Allotr'' , nt: of $183,570 o,’ Works Progrcr:, Administration funds for airport construction in Marion and Brown Counties have been approved, according to word received here from the Bureau of Air Commerce, Washington. Included are $167,416 for Stout Field; $14,904 for the Brown County game preserve airport, and $1250 for the Ben Davis-Indianap-olir; Municipal airport. Approval of the projects by Indiana PWA authorities is expected. Lieut. W. B. Morgan, district advisory for the bureau in Indiana, Michigan and Kentucky, is supervising plans and specifications. Fostered hy Officials The use of PWA funds for airports and air-marking is being fostered bv Aojt. CJen. Elmer F. Straub, Indiana National Guard, and state municipal airport officials. Miss Helen MrCloskey, supervisor of a project to place signs on buildings to guide Ilians, has been directing construction of 534 airmarking project in the state. The signs are to be placed in every 10-mile square area in the state. They will tell direction to the nearest airports, the correct meridian and the name of the town. GREEK SCHOOL HEADED BY NATIVE OF THRACE Prof. Sophocles Moshos Formerly Taught in Dayton, O. Prof. Sophocles Moshos, native of Andrianople, Thrace, has been named principal of the Greek School operated here by the Greek American Progressive Association.
