SOCIAL SERVICE CONFERENCE IS ARRANGED HERE Workers From Six States to Meet in City Nov. 6,7, 8. Social workers from six states are to attend the forty-fourth annual Indiana State Conference on Social Work, which is to be held in the Claypool, Nov. 6. 7 and 8. Dr. Max Bahr, Central State Hospital superintendent and conference president, announced today. General sessions are to be held at nights, six divisions are to hold meetings on Thursday and Friday mornings, and the afternoons are to be given over *o special programs, and meetings of affiliated groups and organizations. Indianapolis postoflice officials in getting ready their regular “mail early” warning to those sending presents abroad declared that a package or letter will just make Ethiopia by Christmas Day if mailed Thanksgiving Day. Ship service to France takes from five to eight days with another 10 days for the package before it reaches Djibouti.
