ARRANGE ARGTIC HERO'S FUNERAL Maj. Gen. Greely Will Be Given Burial With Full Military Honors. It'l f'ttilrd Vrr .. WASHINGTON. Oct. 21 Maj. Gen. Adolphus W. Greely is to be buried in Arlington Cemetery with full military honors tomorrow. The famous Arctic explorer, who recently was decorated with the Congressional Medal of Honor for his exploits, died at Walter Reed Hospital yesterday. He was 91. Gen. Greely was a robust young man in 1881 when he led an expedition to the far North. All but even of his 24 comrades died. Only his courage during a three-year fight in the wastelands north of the Arctic Circle brought the remnants of his party back to civilization. This spring. Congress bestowed upon him the Congressional Medal of Honor. Recalls Expedition Tales Tales of privations encountered in the Arctic regions, and which caused the death of her husband in 1904, were recalled today by Mrs. Laura Frederick. 863 Middle-dr, Woodruff Flare, as news dispatches told of the death in Washington of Gen. Adolphus w. Greely, expedition commander. Her husband. Sergt. Julius R. Frederick, was one of the seven survivors. This action will be taken. Mr. Spencer explained, because the old! indictment was returned by a grand jury whose selection excluded worn- j fit. The trial in Boone Circuit!
