On the thirtieth anniversary of the organization of the First Japtist Church brotherhood, Monday night. Dr. Edwin Holt Hughes. Washington, is to address the group on “The Church in a Changing W’orld." The meeting also is to be observed as ladies' night. Mr. Hughes, whose ministry was I confined chiefly to England, was De Pauw University president from 19C3 to 1908: member of the Indiana State Board of Education at i one time, ana m 1904. Indiana State Teachers’ Association presi- | dent. Charles F. Remy. former judge, is to be host to the charter members who are to attend the meeting en masse. A banquet at 6:15 is to precede the meeting. LUTHERANS TO MARK TRANSLATION OF BIBLE Central District Services to Be Held Sunday at Noblcsville. B ’f Times Special NOBLESVILLE. Ind.. Oct. 18.— Central Indiana Lutherans are to gather here Sunday for all-day services commemorating the four hundredth anniversary of the translation of the English Bible. Sermons are to be delivered by the Rev. W. H. Moeller, New Palestine. and the Rev..Wambsana. Ft. Wayne. Vocal and instrumental music will be provided by the Tipton Lutheran choir and Miss Luverne Wischmeier, Indianapolis.
