T. E. STOCKY. EX-DEMOCRAT LEADER. DEAD
Doctor, Former Customs Collector, Passes at Milroy Home. Funeral services for Dr. Thomas E. Stucky, collector of customs in Indianapolis from 1914 to 1918, who died yesterday in Milroy, where he had made his home since 1927. will be held at 10 tomorrow in the Hisey Titus Funeral Home. 951 N. Dela-ware-st. Burial will be in Mooresville. Dr. Stucky, who was 82. was well known among older Democratic party members. He practiced medicine in Indianapolis from 1891 to 1914, and was appointed customs collector on the recommendation of Senator John W. Kern, father of the present Indianapolis mayor. He attended Earlham College and was graduated from the Louisville University School of Medicine in 1875. Dr. Stucky was a member of the Central Avenue Methodist Episcopal Church and the Masonic Lodge. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Howard C. Binkl JV, Wife of the president of the Bankers Trust Cos., and a brother, Edward W. Stucky, Indianapolis. Dean Willfond Is Dead Dean Willfond, 2535 N. Gale-st, son of Mr. and Mrs. Trace Willfond, and medical student of the Indiana University Medical School extension course, died last night at Methodist Hospital after a five days’ illness. Mr. Willfond, who was 23. had lived in Indianapolis since he was 6. He formerly studied medicine at Arkansas University. He was a graduate of Technical High School, and attended the Methodist Episcopal Church. Surviving are his parents. Funeral arrangements have not been completed. Otto Graf, Jeweler, Dies Last rites for Otto Graf, downtown jeweler in Indianapolis 35 years, who died at his home, 1317 Sturm-av, last night after an illness of three years, will be held at 2 Friday in the home. Services will be conducted by the Scottish Rite and the Indianapolis Liederkranz. Services at the grave will be directed by Capital City Lodge 312, Free and Accepted Masons. Burial will be in Crown Hill. Mr. Graf's shop had been situated at 116 E Washington-st for the last few years. Previously he had been in business on E. Market-st and a number of years ago in the Pembroke Arcade, He was born in Germany and came to Indianapolis 40 years ago. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Anna M. Graf; a daughter, Mrs. Herta Severance. Peoria, III.; a son. Otto Graf Jr., instructor in the University of Michigan German department; six sisters, Mrs. Fred Bonnett, Mrs. Marie Liebrock, Mrs. Sophie Asperger and Mrs. Minnie Klemm. all of Indianapolis, and Mrs. Emma Straub, Germany, and three brothers. all living in Germany.
