All other officers of the company were re-elected, and Arthur L. Gilliom. Ross H Wallace and Charles W. Chase were re-elected to serve another term on the board of directors. Mr. Tretton a resident of Indianapolis all h:s life, first was employed by the Indianapolis Street Car Cos. in 1900. In 1904 he was made paymaster. He moved to the transportation department in 1907 and for a‘year held the position of schedule maker. From 1908 to 1919 he acted as assistant superintendent of transportation. Police today are searching for a Negro handyman who is reported by Mrs. John Longwell. 3423 Broadwav to have stolen from her home late yesterday a purse containing three rings valued at SIOSO. $lO in bills and a sls check. Mrs. Longwell said she engaged the Negro to do some housework for her and that when he left she discovered the loss of the purse*.

Services for Mrs. Josephine Adams. who died Wednesday night at her home on B'-thel-av, following a four days’ illness of pneumonia, will be held at 9 tomorrow in Holy Name Roman Catholic Church. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Mrs. Adams. wK* was 75. was the grandmother Charles E. Carrll Jr., managing editor of The Indianapolis Times. She had been an Indianapolis resident 49 years, and lived in Baltimore before coming to Indianapolis. Surviving her are two daughters, Mrs. William Theising. with whom she made her home, and Mrs. Earl Naylor. Columbia City, and sons. Robert J- Adams. Thomas H. Adams and Edwin G. Adams of the Adams Plating Cos. Detective’s Wife Passes Mrs. Mabel Houlihan, wife of Dennis Houlihan. Indianapolis detective sergeant, died last night at her home. 1723 E. Terrace-av, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident on the Shelbyville road, about 14 miles from Indianapolis, March 22. Requiem mass will be offered for her at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church at 8:30 Monday, with burial in Crown Hill. Mrs. Houlihan, who was 55, had lived n Indianapolis all her life. Mrs. India Wright Dead Mrs. India A. Wright died last night in her home, 5000 N. Key-stone-av, where she and her husband have lived since their marriage 43 years ago. and where Mr. Wright, Indianapolis retail coal dealer, was born. She had been ill 14 years. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 tomorrow in the Bellaire Methodist Episcopal Church, and burial will be In Crown Hill. Surviving are the widower: one son, Charles P. Wright Jr.; two sisters, Mrs. Silas Johnson and Mrs. Cynthia A. Wright, both of Indianapolis. and two half-brothers. Isaac Atkinson. Plainfield, and Dr. Charles Atkinson, Boswell. Copeland Rites Set Private funeral services for Harry G. Copeland, member of the editorial staff of The Indianapolis Star, who died yesterday at his home, 2539 Broadway, will be held at 11 tomorrow in the residence. The body will be taken to Galveston. where a short burial service will be held. Mr. Copeland, a veteran newspaper man, had served in various capacities on the editorial staffs of the Indianapolis Sentinel, Indianapolis Sun, and the Indianapolis News, and had been managing editor of the Marion Chronicle until seven years ago when he returned to the Star. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Josephine Copeland; a sister. Mrs. Lillian Tyner, Washington; a brother, Percy H. Copeland. Logansport; four daughters, Mrs Mary Louise Myers, Miss Betty Ann Copeland. Miss Jayne Copeland and Mrs. Florence Kahn, all of Indianapolis; and a son, Robert Greer Copeland, New York. Mrs. Rose McNew Dead Funeral arrangements were to be completed today for Mrs. Rose McNew, 614 N. Somerset-av, who died last night of injuries sustained in a fall in her home two weeks ago. Mrs. McNew, who was 76, was Dorn in Pennsylvania 0., and came to Indianapolis a year ago to make her home with a son, Grover McNew. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Daisy Shook, Sunman, and Mrs. Clyde Gilliland, Osgood; two sons, Grover McNew, Indianapolis, and Ray McNew, West Virginia, and two brothers, Jacob Fox and David Fox, both of Indianapolis. $50,000 MAIL LOOT"’ RECOVEREO IN LAKE Police Drag Reservoir for $72,000 Cash Still Missing. By United Press AKRON, 0., April 26.—Police dragged North Reservoir near here today in an effort to locate more of the $124,000 in loot obtained by three bandiats who robbed a mail truck in Warren Wednesday. More than $50,000 in bonds and many registered letters already had been found by boatmen. Still missing was one mail sack known to have contained $72,000 in cash destined for a Republic Steel Corp. pay roll in Warren.
