A Woman’s Viewpoint BY MRS. WALTER FERGUSON

There's Sir Malcolm Campbell, for instance, who spends his time building automobiles in order to break his own speed record on Daytona Beach. He may be endowed with all the Tirtures. but I think he lacks moderation. After a man has succeeded in cutting the wind at 276 miles an dour he mav as well call it a decade and turn his attention to less hazardous and more important occupations. Already our machinery is far too perfect to fit into our social scheme. We motor from our homes each morning to enter an economic systrm that creaks along at a horse a:.-: b . pace, to legislative bod* r‘ s which snails it at an ox-cart g nt, to courts of law which fairly limp on crushes, lingering in the deep dead p-'t. From our smoothly runing airplanes we can regard a world that ].iics Mill in the barbarous age, before even wheels were invented. So far as our international machinery 0 ' CHESS TEAMS TO MEET Second Match to be Hayed Soon; Battle to 5-5 Draw. A second chess match between the Northern Indiana Chess Association, Ft.
