Women, especially, arc often misled by the shouting of those to a h r in freedom spells only one thing —mr chance to act like men. So *e vote. hold office, tarn money, drink, smoke, go where we please and do a hat we like, without seeing that our attitude is sometimes childish. Then we call upon the gods to witness our deliverance, and the gods permjw smile at our exuoerance while they pity our delusion. By the unnatural pose she destroys the very core of her personality and denies the purpose of life. TIMEKEEPER LOSES SSOO FERA CHECKS Papers Jolted From Seat of Car, Is Belief. Fifty-tw-o Federal Emergency Relief Administration pay checks for laborers working on projects at Stout Reid were lost today by George R. Gerking. 3908 W. Morrisst. an FERA timekeeper, somew-here between City Hal! and Stout Field. The total value of the checks is approximately SSOO. Mr. Gerking had received the checkr in an envelope at City Hall and. driving back to the projects, had placed the envelopes on the seat. The envelope Jolted out of the truck, and Mr. Gerking did not notice the loss until some time later. Because approximately 10,000 FERA pay checks are given out each week and because merchants and grocers make almost no effort to identify the signers. FERA officials asked police to conduct an j extensive search for the missing j checks.
