LEGION CHIEFS EXPECTED AT ROUNDUP HERE National Adjutant to Make Address at Session in Antlers. All past commanders of the Indiana department, American Legion, are expected to attend the first annual roundup of past post officials at 2 Sunday in the Antlers. National Adjutana Frank E. Samuel and C. Wayland Brooks, Chicago. will address the meeting. Saturday night the officials will take part in a banquet and on Sunday several state committee meetings will be held. Department Commander Frank A. Kossa and Adjutant William B. Sayer will be in charge. Joseph F. Lutes, Twelfth District commander, urged all posts and business firms to forge ahead in the membership drive so the district may report its quota completed at the state meeting.

RELIEF WORKERS BEGIN FALL CREEK WIDENING 100 Get Jobs on Channel Project at Boulevard-pl. Bridge. Approximately 100 Federal Emergency Relief Administration workers will be employed on a project to widen the channel of Fall Creek, at the Boulevard-pl bridge, on which work will begin today under the direction of J. Edward Perry, park board engineer. The channel will be widened from 125 to 250 feet as a part of the flood prevention program in Marion County. With the completion of this project Fall Creek will have been cleared from 38th-st to North-western-av. A sewer at the Boulevard-pl bridge will be extended 200 feet and the northern abutment of a bridge, once planned but never completed, will be cleared away above the water line, Mr. Perry said. METAL TRADES GROUP RETAINS ALLJFFICERS James S. Watson Renamed President, Banquet to Be March 29. All incumbent officers and committeemen of the National Metal Trades Association local branch have been re-elected through a referendum vote of the district membership, it was announced today.
