44 PASS STATE LAW EXAMINERS TEST; 61 FAIL One Woman Is Included in List; Ceremonies Set for April 1. Forty-four prospective attorneys received in the mail today announcements that they had passed examinations conducted by the State Board of Law Examiners two weeks ago. one hundred and five took the tests. Os the 105. there were 62 taking the examinations for the first time. Forty-three were "repeats.” Thir-ty-one of the 62 passed. 13 of the 43 were successful. Five per cent of the examinees were preachers. None of them passed. A Jewish rabbi >a!so failed. Any person able to prove himself of good character is eligible to take the examinations. Mrs Lyndail Hogston Smith 58 N. Irvington-av, was the only woman to pass the test. All of the prospective lawyers will be admitted to the bar April I.
