FEDERAL JURY TO STUDY 175 CASESMONDAY Panel to Probe Kidnaping Charges During Session Here. The Federal grand jury will convene Monday to study 175 cases in which charges vary from kidnaping to possession of a still. Joe Perdue, 21, Uniontown Ky„ faces a kidnaping indictment for the alleged abduction of Morgan B. Hamack, Morganfield, Ky., banker and his wife. The Hamacks were robbed and driven from Kentucky to Evansville. Ind., where the car was wrecked. Mrs. Hamack is now in the hospital recovering from a broken back. The charge of crossing the state lines while fleeing from arrest will tie used for the first time in this district when the 23 jurors study Perdu’s case. The case of Allen Bomberger, brilliant 21-year-old Wabash College student, who is alleged to have attempted to extort $50,000 from his father by a self-kidnaping plot, also will be studied.
