Abraham Black, 37, of 1103 S. Illinois-st yesterday was sentenced to sene a 10-day jail term on a contempt of court charge by Municipal Judge Wilfred Bradshaw as the result of a fracas in the doorway of the courtroom late Wednesday. Black is alleged to have struck Paul Patton. 40. R. R 11. Box 291-K. who was a witness in a suit decided against Black Patton fell backwards and fell against Mrs. Helen Parham. 26. of 3603 Rockville-rd, who narrowly escaped toppling over a railing into a courtyard four stories below. CIVIC CLUB TO MEET North Side Organization Will (father at Sutherland Church. E. Clauer, county treasurer, announced today. The next tax installment will become delinquent after the first Monday in May. Mr. Clauer has requested that all ; taxpayers, when writing or calling ! for their tax bills, to send or bring their last paid receipt and a stamped self-addressed envelope for reply. This will eliminate any possible errors and will enable the treasurer's office to give quicker and better se/vice, he pointed out. Those desiring to pay taxes for
