It y Jimf.s Sptrial CRAWFORDSVILLF. Feb. 21.—A substantial reduction in rates charged by the local municipal electric plant is expected within a short time. With a revised schedule already before the Indiana Public Service Commission, and a resolution embodying the lowered rates ready for presentation to the city council. Glen Hayworth, plant superintendent, state that the reduction will amount to a $25,000 annual saving for consumers. In announcing the proposed reduction. Mr. Hayworth explained that the pending schedule provides lower rates for all classes of consumers. He also said that present rates are among the lowest in the state.
