Miss Arbuckle to Be Bride in Church Service Preceding the wedding ceremony of Miss Mildred Arbuckle and Melvin W. Berryman tonight in Hillside Christian Church will be a medley of bridal songs to be played by Mrs. Edith Carr Martin, organist. Mrs. Virginia Harbaugh Wilson will sing "O Promise Me” and “I Love You Truly.” As the organist plays, the ushers. Frank Onan. William Szatowski, William Beeson and Clarence Mayhoefer. will seat the guests. The Rev. Herbert Wilson will perform the ceremony before the altar, to be banked with palms and ferns and lighted by tapers in candelabra. The bride will be attended by her 1 sister, Miss Eleanor Arbuckle. whose gown of brown mossy crepe will be worn with gold accessories and an arm bouquet of Johanna Hill roses. Herbert W. Berryman, the bridegroom's brother, will be best man. The bride's white satin gown is trimmed in Alencon lace and will be worn with a tulle veil falling from a needlepoint lact cap. The bridal bouquet will be of bride's roses and gardenias. .

Alumnae Group of St. Agnes to Hold ‘Song Fest’ “Song fest” and discussion of activities will feature the regular meeting of St. Agnes Academy Alumnae Association at 8 Monday night at the academy with the president, Miss Alice Jane Hessler, presiding. Officers of the alumnae and chairmen of standing committees; have been named by Miss Hessler as I hostesses for the meeting. Officers with Miss Hessler are Miss Marjorie McDuffee, vice-president; Miss Mary Rosalie Beck, secretary, and Miss Gretchen Mary Yeazel. treasurer. The alumnae's annual skating, party will be discussed and Miss Mary Catherine Coulter, chairman of the Christmas ball, will report on the event. Following the transaction of business, bridge and other games will be played and refreshments served Yellow tapers will light the serving table to be laid with a lace cloth and entered with a bowl of yellow pompoms. Europe’s State Will Be Subject Opening Series Mrs. Louise Leonard Wright, Chicago, will speak on “The European Situation and the League of Nations" at 10 Wednesday morning at the American Central Life Insurance auditorium as the first in a series of three discussion groups sponsored by the department of government and international cooperation of the Indianapolis League of Women Voters. Mrs. Wright recently returned to the United States after a several months’ stay in Europe where her husband. Dr. Quincy Wright, professor of international law at the University of Chicago, was an observer at the armament conference in Geneva. Dr. and Mrs. Wright traveled in Russia and Germany. The league experience of Mrs. Wright has been extensive. She has been secretary of the National League of Women Voters and has held several offices in both the Illinois and Cook County leagues and has served for several years on the speakers bureau of the Cook County League. Mrs. Robert S. Sinclair, chairman of the Indianapolis department, sponsor, will preside and introduce the speaker. JAPANESE CULTURE TO BE TOPIC

Krider, Richmond, wife of a missionary, who returned recently to this country on a furlough after 14 years in the Orient, will discuss “The Classical Culture of Japan” at a dinner meeting of Alpha Phi Sorority Indianapolis alumnae chapter at 6:30 Monday night at the home of Mrs. Wendell P. Coler, 121 Penway-st, association president. The meeting at which Mrs. Krider will speak will be preceded by a Japanese dinner. The speaker is a graduate of De Pauw University and the Chicago School of Civics and Philanthropy. Assisting Mrs. Coler will be Miss Halcyon Mendenhall, Miss Helen Kimberlin, Mrs. Tristam Coffin and Mrs. Richard Boatman. HAND IMPRESSIONS WILL BE SHOWN
