Murton Millen, leader of the bank bandits who terrorized suburban cities and towns and is under death sentence for the machme-gun slaying of a patrolman during a Needham bank raid, threw a fistfull of pepper into jail guard's face and made a dash for freedom. William Mata's cries brought another guard, Henry Farrington, and they succeeded in overpowering the desperate Murton.
