GREENLEE LIST CHANGES MADE Third Census District Heads Named by Greenwood and Jenckes. Hi/ Times i'pi t int WASHINGTON. Dec. 20.—Representatives Arthur Greenwood and Virginia Jenekles agreed today to reject Pleas Greenlee's selections for farm census supervisor and assistant in the Third Census District. Asa result, J. N Walters, Carlisle, will be named supervisor, and Kenneth Schenck, Waynetown, assistant. Mr. Greenlee had submitted the names of William Bridwell, Vincennes, for supervisor, and Earl Myers, Linton, assistant. The patronage was assured the Congressmen at the White House meeting attended recently by Governor Paul V. McNutt and Senator Frederick Van Nuys. The Indiana selections will be named formally by Daniel c Roper, Secretary of the Interior, tomorrow'. With the exception of Owen County, the Greenlee list will be accepted for the field force, Mr. Greenwood's office reported today. For the most part, the McNutt organization keeps this patronage despite the fight, it was admitted. The Third District consists of 21 counties and there will be nine or 10 field census takers to a county. Headquarters will be at Terre Haute. Representative Greenwood selected the supervisor and Mrs. Jenckes the assistants. She also named Mrs. Margaret Mayes. Terre Haute, for a stenographic position with the force.
