Radiator Replacements Featured by Acme Firm
Freezing Weather Brings Much Repair Work on Small Cars. At this time the Acme Radiator Company, 623 North Illinois street, is making a feature of radiator replacements for Fords and Chevrolets. With the temperature every day around the freezing point the company has replaced radiators in many of the cars, with the result that the month of November has seen the biggest amount of trade in four years. With 6,400 square feet of floor space devoted to repair service, the Acme Radiator Company is at present working on the re-cording of a radiator used in the cooling system of a Big Four Railroad gasoline train. This radiator, which is nearly five feet square, will require two weeks for re-coring, using the cartridge type of core, dipped in solder. The company also builds and re-cores radiators for any cooling need, and makes radiators for racing cars. Radiators may be damaged by flying stones, collisions, and other accidental causes, making repairs necessary. Repairs are easily and cheaply made in a short time. Damaged portions are removed and replaced without dismantling the cooling system. Such a feature is of value to any one in need of such a repair, due to the time saved and the method employed.
