Delays also were caused in the printing of the state ballots. No estimate was available as to the additional amount the state's elecion . board was required to pay. Each vote cast in Marion county election cost the taxpayers approximately 26 cents. Mr. Ettincer's figures show. A total of 172.323 votes were polled at a total cost of $45.486.41. This cost does not include any of the expense of establishing the permanent registration system.
