5 RALLIES ARE ON DEMOCRAT CARDTONIGHT Minton, Peters and Manion Speakers; Teas Also on Program. Five ward rallies are scheduled by Democrat* for tonight, in addition to * number of teas and small meetings.

Speakers for the rallies will include Sherman Minton, Democratic nominee for United States senator; Professor Clarence tPau Manion, University of Notre Dame law school, aid R. Earl Peters, former Demorratic state chairman. Sixth ward will meet at Twentyninth and Clinton streets; Seventeenth ward at 2320 Shelby street; Wayne township at the Legion hall. Ben Davis, and the Eighth ward at Bowen's garage, 945 Ft. Wayne avenue. Parades will be held by Democrats of Wavne township and the Fighth ward, the one in Wayne township starting from municipal airport at 6:45, and tounng the township. Thirteenth ward will meet at 1051 Maple street, where addresses will be made by Miss Hannah Noone, nominee for re-election as Center township trustee; F. B. Ransom. Representative Henry J. Richardson Jr., Dr. Theodore Cable. Judge John W. Kern. Arthur Swanigan and Judge William A. Pickens. Judge Frank P. Baker will speak at the Belmont Club. Blackford and Wabash streets; Gerntt Bates will speak to Twentieth Ward Young Democrats at 4172 College avenue, and the Rev. O. H. Banks and Dr Robert S. Skelton will speak at an Eleventh ward meeting at 119 North Liberty street. Mr. Minton was to be guest this afternoon at two teas given by women of Perry township and Beech Grove. The first was to be at the | home of Mrs. Helen Costello, BluiTcrest, and the second at the home of Mrs. Guv Rutledge. 80 North Scvent'l avenue. Beech Grove.
