JACK STOREY RITES ARE SET FOR TOMORROW
Victim of Auto Accident Had Notable Career as an Actor. Funeral .spruces for Jack Storey, 5V actor, who died in St. Vincent’s hospital Monday night. .shortly after walking into the path of an automobile driven by Sidney Siligman, 5141 Kenwood avenue, will be held in Franklin tomorrow, with burial in Franklin. Time of the services has not been determined. Mr. Storey, widely known here, was visiting his sister, Mrs. T. F Larkin 2645 College avenue, at the time of his death. His body was identified several hours after his ric?h by a nephew. Storey Larkin, Indianapolis advertising man. Mr. Storey had played opposite May Robson in one of her greatest stage successes, ‘The Rejuvenation of Aunt Mary," and. before the war. appeared with A1 Jolson in a series o; Winter Garden shows. He trooped ever Franc" during the V/orld war ■ mder the auspices of the Y. M. C A. entertaining soldiers, and. since the war, had appeared with the Stuart Walker company and the Casey players. Ida Pursell Buried The funeral of Mrs. Ida Pursell, 63, former resident of Indianapolis, who died Monday in the home of a son. E. R. Pursell, Vincennes, was held this morning in Vincennes. Burial was to be this afternoon in Crown Hill, with the Rev. Jean S. Milner, Second Presbyterian church pastor, in charge of services at the grave. Surviving Mrs. Pursell are the widower and son, and tw’o daughters. Mrs. Wade Sanders and Mrs. Paul Schilling, Spink Arms. Former Resident Dies Funeral services for Mrs. Bonno Gundelfinger, former Indianapolis resident, who died Saturday in Los Angeles, will be held in the chapel of the Indianapolis Hebrew cemetery Friday afternoon. Mrs. Gundelfinger had lived on the west coast eight years. Surviving are the widower, a sister, Mrs. Henry de Vries, Big Springs, Tex., and two brothers, H. S. Kaufman, Emil. Okla., and A. G. Kaufman, Petersburg. George Sites Rites Burial services for George A. Sites, 33, retired railroader, who died Monday in the home of his daughter. Mrs. Florence Williamson. 5875 Winthrop avenue, were to be held at 2 this afternoon in the Harry W. Moore funeral home. Burial was to be in Crown Hill. Mr. Sites was for many years a Big Four employe. He had lived in Indianapolis fifty-eight years and was a member of the Knights of Pythias and the Bright wood Methodist Episcopal church. Surviving are the widow, a son, George L. Sites, and two daughters, Mrs. Williamson and Mrs. John Rodeson, all of Indianapolis. Seery Funeral Held Requiem mass for Mrs. Catherine Seery, 2928 College avenue, sixteen years a resident of Indianapolis, who died Monday in her home, was offered today' in SS. Peter and Paul cathedral. Burial was in Holy Cross cemetery. Surviving are two sons. Joseph 1 Try and Justin Seery, and seven daughters. Misses Zella, Frances, Mary and Elizabeth Seery, Mrs. Maurice F. McGraph. and Mrs. Louis Flattery, all of Indianapolis, uid Mrs. Calvin S. Roberts, Philadelphia. Cornelius Rites Set The funeral of George G. Cornelius. 66. of 2214 North New Jersey i street, fifty years an Indianapolis resident, who died yesterday in Methodist hospital, will be held at 2 tomorrow in the residence. Burial will be in Concordia cemetery. Mr. Cornelius was employed by the Henry Coburn Storage and Warehouse Company prior to his retirement ten years ago. He was a member of the Lutheran Church of j Our Redeemer. Surviving are the widow, a daughter, Mrs. Bertha Green, Bedford; two sons. George D. Cornelius, Alhambra. Cal., and Arthur E. Elizabeth Ayers Dies Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Ayers. 67. of 6800 East Thirteenth street, a life-long resident of Indianapolis, who died yesterday In her home, will be held at 1:30 tomorrow in the Eighth Christian church, of which she was a member. Burial will be in the Salem cemetery, Hendricks county. Surviving are the widower, E. P. Ayers; a daughter. Mrs. O. M. Jones. 5260 North Pennsylvania, and a son. W. T. Ayers, 5148 Pleasant Run parkway. Accident Victim Dies Funeral services were being arranged today for Miss Pauline Baker, 39. of 2167 North Meridian street, who was injured fatally yesterday afternoon when her automobile was sideswiped by another car and overturned on Slate road 43 near Brookston. She died last night in St. Elizabeth's hospital, Lafayette. Edward Warner. 35, Indianapolis, manager of the Knox state game preserve, who was riding with Miss Baker, is in the Lafayette hospital suffering from severe head lacerations. He said the driver of the car which sideswiped Miss Baker’s car did not stop. Motorists took them to Brookston and then to Lafayette. Miss Baker, a prominent All Souls Unitarian church worker, is survived by her mother. Mrs. William L. Baker, and a sister. Mrs. Ferdinand A. Meyer, wife of Ferdinand A. Meyer, interior decorator, all of Indianapolis.

Ry Time* Sprrinl FRANKLIN. Oct. 31.—Chanley Hedger, 21, Edinburg, has entered upon a life term at the Indiana state prison, Michigan City, for the knife slaying of Robert Whitlock. Edinburg youth. Hedger, angered becauite he lost money in a dice game in which young Whitlock was a participant also, thre waway the dice. A fight followed, during which the youth was wounded fatally. He died in sf Columbus hospital. A Johnson county grand jury indicted Hedger on first and second degree murder charges. He entered a plea of guilty to the second degree charge in Johnson circuit.court and was sentenced immediatly by Judge Charles B. Staff

PARADE PARTICIPANT THROWN FROM TRUCK Joe Wooling, 21, Sent to Hospital With Ankle Fracture. Joe Wooling, 21, of 4825 Washington boulevard, is in Methodist hospital today with a fractured ankle, the aftermath of his participation in a parade last night. Mr. Wooling was found on the curb at Delaware and Fifty-second streets.
