Dr. Covert, a native of Johnson county, was presented with a gavel made of wood from the old Mud meeting house in Harrodsburg, Ky.

His brother, James Covert, an elder in the First church of Franklin, made the presentation. Dr. Jean S Milner. Second Presbyterian church pastor, spoke on Dr. Covert's Indiana background. The Rev. Arthur Meengs, Franklin. Indianapolis Presbytery moderator, presided during the fellowship hour, and the Rev. John Prentiss. Bedford, presided during the meeting. Dogfish Wear Collars BELFAST. Me.
