MARS HILL BUS SERVICE WILL START SUNDAY Route Is Selected for New Line to Replace Trolley. Through bus service from Monument Circle to Mars Hill by way of Rhodius park, replacing street car service, will start Sunday, J. P Tretton. Indianapolis Railways general manager, announced today. The new routing and use of busses was approved recently by the public service commission. The routing is west on Market street from the Circle to Capitol avenue, sou’h to Kentucky avenue, southwest to Oliver avenue, west to Harding street, .south to Ray street, west on Ray and Wyoming streets to Warman avenue, south to Mortis street, west to Tibbs avenue, south to Minnesota street, west to Holt road, south to Mars Hill. In Mars Hill, the busses will route south on Holt road to Seerley road, west to Ninth avenue West, north to Lafayette, east to First avenue East, north to Kerr road, east to Holt road and return over same route to the Circle. Half-hour service during rush hours and hourly service regularly will be provided. Busses will leave Mars Hill at fifteen minutes after the hour regularly, with additional service at forty-five minutes after each hour in the rush period. Regular busses will leave the Circle at forty-five minutes after each hour.
