INDIANA IS SAFE, DEMOCRATS SAY State Is Counted on ‘Sure’ List by Party’s High Command. By Time • Special WASHINGTON. Oct s—lndiana leads the list ol the “for sure” states in the Democratic column in the November election, according to a pronouncement of the high command here last night. Bix states were named where the national organization says it seems absolutely certain that Democratic senators replace the Republican Incumbents. They are Indiana. Ohio, West Virginia. Missouri, New’ Jersey and Maryland. All Democratic senators up for re-election will return and In addition to the six gains predicted as ‘‘certain,” more may be added, it was said. Prediction also was made that all Indiana congressmen will be reelected. All are Democrats. ‘‘lt is in the bag,” PostmasterGeneral James A.
