Kathryn Holaday Becomes Bride in Ceremony at Church
Marriage vows were exchanged today at the North M. E. church by Miss Kathryn Holaday. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Holaday. and Dr. Charles Keith Hepburn. The Rev. W. W. Wiant read the ceremony in the presence of immediate families. Lee Welker, organist, played during the service. The bride is a graduate of Purdue university, where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority and j Dr. Hepburn, a graduate of Indiana school of medicine, is a member of Beta Theta Pi and Nu Sigma Nu fraternities. Mrs. Charles McGuffey Hepburn, mother of the bridegroom, came from Huntington. W. Va., to witness the ceremony. Other guests from out-of-town included Dr. and Mrs. Ben Ross. Alumnae Group Preparing for Benefit Event Indianapolis Alumnae Association of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority announces plans for its annual benefit bridge party held each year for the benefit of local and national charities supported by the organization. Miss Elizabeth Hisey will direct this year’s luncheon to be held from 12 to 1:30 in Ayres’ tearoom and Miss Helen Louise Titus will be in charge of a card party to follow. Fall fashions will be displayed during the afternoon by Ayres’ mannequins. Assisting Miss Titus will be Miss Hisey, Misses Betty Lupton and Elizabeth Hughes; Mesdames Warren D. Oakes, Robert W. Clark, Jack Gulling, Fred Geyer, J. B. Collins, Ronald R. Scott, F. C. Albershardt, William G. Albershadt, Harry G. Jones. Louis Lowe, O. M. Newton, and Margaret Huncilman.
