4 States to Be Represented at Missionary Group Meeting Here. Indianapolis will be host to approximately 2,000 delegates from four states at a three-day conference of the northwestern branch of the Woman’s Foreign Missionary Society of the Methodist Episcopal church Oct. 3, 4 and 5 at the Roberts Park church. Final arrangements are being completed by local workers in cooperation with national leaders. Mrs. Hattie L. Ashbury, 1824 Ashland avenue, is state corresponding secretary and conference hostess. States to oe represented at the three-day gathering will be Illinois, Michigan, Missouri and Indiana. Dr. Rebecca Parrish, former missionary in the Philippine Islands and the far east, will be missionary hostess at the conference. Mrs. W W. Thornton will be general chairwith Mrs. Ewing Shields, presßent ot the Indianapolis district organization, as co-chairman Officers of the Indianapolis district who will assist in local arrangements are Mrs. Shields, president: Mis.
