B—lndiana farmers will receive *28.589.000 in rental and benefit payments of the agricultural adjustment administration wheat corn-hog and tobacco adjustment programs during the three-year period ending next year, it is announced. A total of *779 402.000 is to be disbursed by the federal government in all states during 1933. 1934 and 1935. and Indiana will receive approximately 5 per crmt of the national allotment, according to L/>uis H. Bean, economic adviser of the AAA. The benefit payments assure that farmers as a whole will have larger incomes In 1934 and 1935. Mr. Bean said. While farm production has been reduced greatly, he said, commodity prices are correspondingly higher. Os the estimated total payments, a preliminary report shows that up to Aug 2-5. *282 882 519 has been spent in rental and benefit payments.
