After a busy program shopping, parking and last visits with chums and families until the holidays, young women with their smart campus outfits and books will entrain for college towns. Miss Barbara Haines will begin her duties as president of the sophomore class at Connecticut College for Women, New London. Conn. Her sister will return to help with the freshmen at Skidmore college, Saratoga Springs. They are vacationing at the family country home on Eighty-sixth street until time to leave. First year of college life for Miss Jacqueline Wolf, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. M Wolf, will be spent at Wellesley. During her last year year at Tudor Hah. Miss Wolf was editor-in-chief of the Chronicle and Crown, school publication. Sophomore studies at RadclifTe will be the concern of Misses Esther Jane Throckmorton and Betty Anne Noland. Miss Throckmorton is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. R Throckmorton and Miss Nolands parents are Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Noland. Miss Gardner became the bride of O. J. Breidenbaugh in the ceremony, which was followed by a breakfast at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Gardner for relatives and out-of-town guests. The bnde s cousin. Miss Rachel Clough. Union City. Pa., sang "Beloved. It Is Morn.’’ “Alma Mia" and "The Star." following a half hour program by Miss Pauline Roes, organist. before the ceremony. The altar was arranged with palms and ferns and lighted with two seven-branched candelabra, holding white tapers.
