The Theatrical World Shirley Temple Scores Again in New Picture BY WALTER D. HICKMAN
IS Shirley Temple still Just as sweet, as cute and as unspoiled as she has been in her early pictures? The question is appropriate because Shirley, the 5-year-old movie sensation, now is on view in "Now and Forever,” at the Circle. It won't be long before Shirley will be a star in her own right because in
this movie she is co-starred with Gary Cooper, and Carole Lombard. Although Miss Lombard and Mr. Cooper give pleasing accounts of themselves, it is the 5-year-old who walks off with the acting honors. Child actors generally get me in a bad frame of mind, but this youngster is different different because she is an

that her "daddy” told her a fib to cover his crime of stealing jewels, this 5-year-old actually got my eyes wet. The little girl can go into a tearful scene with as much ease as she does the mast fantastic play scene. She is a natural actor, a child who doesn't have to imitate, because she responds naturally to every situation. "Now and Forever” is a clean, interesting and humanly done movie. It is for the entire family. It is delightful. Now at the Circle. s b n r T''HE Indiana theater opened its season today with Bing Crosby, Miriam Hopkins and Kitty Carlisle in ‘ She Loves Me Not.” Loew s Palace is presenting Fredric March and Constance Bennett in "The Affairs of Cellini.” Harold Lloyd in "The Cat’s Paw” starts his second week at the Apollo. The Lyric theater today opens its new policy of vaudeville and movies.
